About Do As Infinity
Do As Infinity (ドゥ アズ インフィニティ, speel it, Du Azu Infiniti), a Popular Japanese band that on 29 September 1999 debut with the release of their first single, Tangerine Dream. Your name is sometimes abbreviated as DAI, revealing that As Infinity was named after the guitarist of the band and composer Thu, Dai Nagao.

History

Dai Nagao began as a composer for an amateur band. After its dissolution continues Nagao composing songs, sending demo tapes to more than 50 record companies in Japan. Nagao was eventually hired by AVEX Records, to work as a composer. He immediately became a task to compose songs for Ayumi Hamasaki and Hitomi too.

1999

Finally, consultations were held, and he chose Tomiko Van as lead singer, and Ryo Owatari as a guitarist. Tomiko sang “Heart” as a band member 42 hours after the avex staff read her application. On 29 September 1999, the group released their first single, Tangerine Dream, and held a live concert in Shibuya. They conducted almost daily in a number of sites of Shibuya’s 109 (which is famous for street performers) to Yokohama Station and traveled to Fukuoka and other cities.

TAO

Dai Nagao is working with landscape and other artists Amasia write under the TRUE SONG music label, songs for various artists.
